Joe Martin is a Seattle area native. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from City University of Seattle in 2003 and a law degree from Seattle University School of Law in 2014.  Before practicing law, Joe was a project manager at Microsoft and served as a tank platoon commander in the United States Marine Corps.  Joe then worked for a large insurance defense firm where his practice involved all manner of complex civil defense litigation.

Joe joined Clement & Drotz in 2024, where he now specializes in construction defect litigation. He has successfully handled cases in both state and federal courts, including at the appellate levels.  Joe’s efforts have resulted in multiple millions of dollars in savings and recovery on behalf of his clients.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys travel, snowboarding, SCUBA diving, and generally, anything that will make for an adventure with his wife and teenage daughter.

Joe is licensed to practice law in Washington.
